YOM provides a number of support services and activities for positive development to children and adolescents. The following are some of the programs that help empower participants through Counseling, Educational, Employment, and Leisure Time activities: |

|
Counseling |
Social Workers provide counseling for youth and their families for all non-drug/alcohol issues. Individual and group counseling available. |

|
Homework Assistance Program (After School Program) |
Assist groups of students with their daily assignments and projects in the areas of math, science, history, spelling, etc. We ask to see report cards to assist in monitoring the child's progress. |

PC Center |
PC lab for the children is currently operational and is a big success. | |||||||
|
Internship Program |
Works with special education students from a local BOCES school. The intern work on a number of different projects in the building as well as in the community. |

|
Tutorial Program |
Services a number of students on a one to one basis in order to provide specific help in academic areas of need. |

Rent-A-Kid |
Community youth (12-16) are available to provide services to the community residents at minimal cost(i.e. yardwork, babysitting, etc.). |

Outreach |
Staff does outreach in the schools as well as in the community. They provide presentations at schools (i.e. Read Ribbon Week and LEAD Week presentations) on various topics ranging from self-esteem to drug/alcohol prevention. |

Job Placement |
Through a job bank, local contacts are made available for employment opportunities. |
|||||||
|
Youth Guidance Project |
Counselors provide intervention and prevention services to youth ages 5-15 who are at risk of or already have been involved with the juvenille justice system. |
