The
TEN WEEK SUMMER CHILDCARE Program provides
supervised socialization activities
for children ages 5 through 13.
The summer
program is divided into two five-week
sessions.
The program is not designed
to provide individualized supervision
and may not meet the needs of all children.
PROGRAM HOURS: Full
day: 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
Half
day: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm |

Special consideration is given
to Single parents, and working families. Assistance is provided
from the Town and County Departments of Park and Recreation and
Nassau County Department of Social Services. A free snack is available
to eligible participants. Fees are on a per session basis
Activities include: The use of Town of Hempstead and Nassau County Parks, Daily Swimming (weather permitted) at the Town of Hempstead Levittown Pools, use of Levittown School Districts grounds, softball, crafts, volleyball, kickball, football, trips, color wars (team relay races), puppet shows, theatre events, water play, talent shows, cookouts, use of computer lab. All scheduled activities are age appropriate.
