The School-Age Childcare Programs
offered at Yours Ours Mine
Community Center provides
a warm, safe, and caring
environment for children
before and after their
school day and during most
school holidays. Services
are provided for children
in Grades K through 8.
Head and assistant teachers
that meet educational and
training requirements regulated
by the New York State Office
of Children and Family
Services staff the programs.
The Before School Program provides early morning
care to children attending Levittown elementary schools. Children
engage in quiet social games and activities. Time is provided for
children to eat a bagged breakfast before school. Limited transportation
is provided.
PROGRAM HOURS :
7:00 am to 9:00 am
The Kindergarten Program provides
care for children after their
half-day morning classes. Children
are transported from school to
the center by YOM staff.
After eating their bagged lunch,
the children engage in social
activities, crafts, computers,
games, and outdoor play. Homework
assistance is given and snack
is provided
PROGRAM HOURS : Full time: 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Part
time: 1:00 pm to 3:10 pm
The After School
Program provides supervision to elementary and middle school
youth (Beginning of Teen Years). The program includes snack, homework
assistance, outdoor play, crafts, computers, table games, game room,
and socialization activities. The program is not designed to provide
individualized supervision and may not meet the needs of all children.
Limited transportation may be provided.
