| The Friends of YOM organization is a group of committed individuals
who value YOM's comprehensive Child Care, Counseling Services, Senior
and Youth Development programs, which have helped families throughout
the community for almost 40 years.
Despite the pressing need for YOM's family based services, the
diminishing of Federal, State, County Long Island United Way, Corporate
sector and Private contributions is not sufficiently insuring the
continuation of YOM's program service delivery system (One Stop
Shopping).
The Friends of YOM board, members, friends and volunteers help
YOM by creating Fund Raisers, tapping Corporate and Private sector,
obtaining foundation grants, individual gifts and contributions.
We are dedicated to helping YOM meet its mission as a Long Island
Community based premier full service community center.
