Chemical Dependency
|
|
A wide range of professional services
are offered aimed toward helping individuals and their families
with substance abuse/chemical dependency, alcohol abuse/alcoholism
concerns. A significant part of the program includes counseling
which is provided by an interdisciplinary team of professionals
who specialize in treating adolescents and adults with substance
abuse/chemical dependency, alcohol/alcoholism problems. The team
includes certified social workers, certified alcohol and substance
abuse counselors, licensed mental health counselors and a psychiatrist who provides consultation and
medication if needed. Counseling is individualized for each person's
specific needs. These services are designed to serve the needs of
youth and their families affected by the disease of addiction. Support
is offered for persons experiencing difficulties surrounding substance
abuse/chemical dependency, alcohol abuse/alcoholism: including poor
work and/or school performance, anxiety and/or depression.
The uniqueness of the program is its ability to serve the person
and his/her significant others in a comprehensive way, which include
individual, group and family modalities.

COUNSELING SERVICES ARE STRICTLY
CONFIDENTIAL

Intensive Outpatient Program
An intensive structured psycho-educational program where the patient
works on achieving abstinence, learns about and accepts the disease
concept, begins to recover from the disease of chemical dependency
and becomes involved in a program of self help.
Early Sobriety Program
Continuation of the above psycho educational program with a focus
on relapse prevention for the patient who is abstinent and has the
basic understanding of the disease concept.
Relapse Prevention
Step down from Early Sobriety - 8 weeks utilizing a Relapse Prevention Plan
Early Intervention
A structured psycho-educational program for the patient who abuses
alcohol or other chemicals and who appears to be on the way to becoming
chemically dependent. This program contains all of the components
of the Intensive Outpatient Program but on a non-intensive schedule.
